December 2006 saw the opening of Burke's Music, in a disused space above Castlemaine's best café, Saff's. Since then, we have been steadily expanding our range of great CDs, with many independent and hard to find CDs, great blues and jazz, alternative rock, and, of course, celtic music.

With a family full of musicians and music lovers, it's no wonder that we've started a family business, although you'll only find Tom at the shop, as the rest of the family is busy playing, recording and organising folk festivals.

Pop into our store in Castlemaine, where you can grab a coffee at Saff's Café, situated right underneath us, come up and lounge around in comfort while you listen to some of our great music, or visit our online store.
